Ancient holloway through the Welbeck estate on the wonderfully named Drinking Pit Lane. The best off road route to Clumber Park from the Creswell area.

  • Icon 164603 Consider how to deliver radial segregated cycleways/20mph/low traffic/quietway routes within 1-2 miles of station to facilitate safe cycle commuting - encourage people to make 'last mile' journeys via active modes
  • Icon 164602 This footpath is less than a meter wide and has a bus stop. It needs to double in width which could easily be accommodated by removing the central hash lines in the middle of the road. These central lines only encourage faster traffic speeds in a built up area much of which is quickly becoming residential.
  • Icon 164601 Path is much wider on the northside road than the southside, would this be better for a wider cyclepath to connect the far west of the city?
  • Icon 164600 This footpath junction acts as a blindspot as users are unable to see each other from under the bridge and on Holmes Road. The connection between these two areas is poor as the cycle path does not continue. Increase the footpath to road ratio.
  • Icon 164599 Cycle path carries on, footpath curves round the traffic sign map. Pedestrians often use the cycle path and not the designated footpath. Need to reconfigure.
  • Icon 164597 Too much traffic uses Dunrobin Road as a rat run. Junctions either end are therefore busy and risky with turning moves. Filtering Dunrobin Road here would make everything safer and walking and cycling more attractive, especially if combined with filters on Chaplin Road.
  • Icon 164596 Belgrave Road and Chaplin Road form a risky crossroads with multiple conflicting movements. too much traffic uses Chaplin Road as a rat run. Filtering Chaplin road on the North of the B road junction would make everything safer and walking and cycling more attractive
  • Icon 164595 At least part of Town Road should be pedestrianised. It’s a very centre of town street by the blue clock. There’s the ring road available for through traffic.
  • Icon 164594 Allow cycling along the pavement from Villiers Cresc to Oaklands Lane so as to link the Jersey Lane path via the housing to the bridleway across to Oaklands College. Cars on House Lane are too fast to be safe for families. Path is wide and goes past no houses front drives.
  • Icon 164593 The flooding needs sorting!
  • Icon 164592 No pedestrian access to Westmill from Buntingford, need better pathway and crossing OR new public footpath from Haley's Hill ditch pathway where it meets A10 to Westmill from west side of A10 after crossing to Westmill Road
